What is an inexpensive bonsai soil mix yah’ll use. There isn’t any premixed soil around me, and I fear that the ones online will be a bit too expensive for my plant budget. This is the only pic I have of my bonsai right now.

    You can get chicken grit super cheap on Chewy .. mix it with some succulent soil

    Would a good bonsai soil recipe be 1/3 cactus/succulent soil (most well draining soil I have right now), 1/3 perlite, and 1/3 orchid bark. I know I need something to prevent overwatering but I’m not sure if that’ll do the trick.
