Just got this Ficus recently from a bonsai store, wondering what steps I can take to develop it to be much bigger and thicker. It came pruned already and I really like the structure of the tree just want to scale it up.

    You could wire it for six months just to shape it the way you want it to be seen, also provide some pruning during the summer months of growth to get it to grow larger later in winter. Choose a style you want for it.
