I just got a new Juniper Bonsai for Christmas. I was wondering if its normal for the leaves to drop during winter months?

Juniper bonsais are evergreens, so they should stay green all year. Could you send a picture?

  Its 38 degrees right now, where else could I put it that has good sunlight instead of a window?

  According to Jackson & Perkins Juniper Bonsai Care Guide, they only need to be moved when the temperature falls below 15 °F (-10 °C).

  Do you have any pictures of the fallen leaves, if you haven’t already thrown them out? Under-watering: crispy thin yellow/brown leaves Overwatering: soft, yellow leaves I’m not an expert, though, and I’m sorry if I couldn’t help!
