Just got my first Juniper Bonsai in the mail (already grown) and I’m wanting to style/shape it a little more, any tips or tricks to make it look nice? (Trimming, moving, etc.)

Hey Eli! You can purchase wire on Amazon relatively cheap. I would suggest you trim the trunk to create a longer trunk appearance and then shape to your liking with wire and a lite trim of the foliage. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, trim where you like but don’t cut too far back. Junipers handle trimming very well as large, mature trees but can go into shock with significant trimming at a young age. First cut is always the hardest, go with what feels right! Good luck!

James RyanCut off the leaves that shoot downwards. These will weigh down the branches and won’t let it grow upwards.
