I’ve had my bonsai a year now and it has been such a hard plant harder than what I expected. Yes it very much nearly died… BUT it is on the mend and has loads of new leads finally. I was just wondering how I can promote new growth on branches that are bare and have no knee sign of growth Thank you in advance
Nitrogen based fertilizers will promote new leaf & stem growth but it may be too late to fertilizer based on your location and species of tree. Some trees can be fertilized as late as October but if you force new growth too close to winter you will not give the new growth the opportunity to harden off before the cold of winter.
