Hello this bonsai I got through 1-800 flowers 1 year ago in memory of my dad who passed right before Christmas it was growing a lot and doing so well till about a month ago it started to turn very brown I don’t trim it a lot and it’s still in its original pot but has grown a lot what can I do to help it
I am sorry to see that your bonsai is suffering a bit. It could be root bound and not absorbing any water when you are watering it. I would try soaking it in a larger container to get it rehydrated. Because Juniper‘s are outdoor plants, your home may be too dry and dark for it. I have one that I soak for a few minutes once a week and it is placed right up against a patio door to get enough light and it’s actually cooler because of the winter temperatures here in Indiana.

Keep it outdoor and water it every day because they don’t live indoor. Move it outside ASAP

I’ve grown mine for 15 yrs inside but you need a 75 watt grow light and watch some vids on youtube- peter Chan…play lists junipers! They do like outside best…but don’t toss it outside in winter you will kill it…
