Put in its first bonsai pot 3 weeks ago and pruned for the first time today. Here’s some before/after. Trying to clear up some foliage to see the branch structure. After a lot of cuts today, I’m going to let it heal for a while before doing any real structural changes. As always, any and all advice is appreciated!

0 Mi piaceSure is. New growth has been coming in fairly quickly considering the recent prune and repot. I almost went with a shallower base, and will probably move to one eventually strictly for aesthetics.
