Hey guys my Japanese holly Bonsai tree which I got on Saturday and I just noticed this little black ball can anyone tell me what this is. I’m new to this so I’m not sure but I have 2 cats Im just freaking out incase they touch it My cats go no where near the tree they seen it but I’m just checking to see what this is Thanks
It’s a fruit! Do not eat it, and don’t let any of your pets eat it. They are somewhat poisonous and can cause stomach irritation. If you want, you can just pick it off the tree and harvest the seeds to sprout them and make more Japanese holly bonsai. They aren’t poisonous to touch, so don’t worry about your skin health.
