I am biting the bullet and getting a single plant light for two of my plants that aren’t getting enough light. I have seen several YouTube videos and have been looking online and don’t see anything on the halo, poke in the soil, kind of plant light. In your knowledgeable opinions what is the BEST KIND of plant light with these parameters? Much grass… 💚🪴

Hi folks, I have an IKEA greenhouse which I’m planning to plant up with Venus FlyTraps. I have a small mister & I also I think it would benefit from a heater to maintain a regular temp. What small heaters would you recommend? Many Thanks 🙏

In case you were wondering, zevo traps work well to catch fungus gnats. I’ve had a plugin trap for several months, and just set up this one last night. It caught half a dozen gnats overnight.

I read about the benefits of worm castings, got some and now I’m not so sure how to use it. Does it need to be mixed into soil? Can I just put it on the top for extra nutrients? Any direction is helpful ty!

Hello, me again 😅 I’m leaning on this group and doing a lot of research to help my plants thrive as much as possible. I’ve just taken all the plants off my stand to show my current setup with my grow lights. Does anybody know if this is a helpful setup? Or does it really depend on the plants? My monstera has been beside it on the floor, below the black remote holder, and it’s very happy - it’s part sun/part shade and probably gets about 4-6 hrs of indirect light not counting the grow lights. Do wondering… is my hanging grow light too high? Does it look like a decent setup? How do I learn about appropriate distance for grow lights? Thank you all!!! 🫶🏻🌱

Hello lovelies! I’m just dividing up a pothos and wondering if there’s value in using the soil and broken roots that come from that pot, or if I should use fresh soil? Never done this before and don’t wanna dump soil if it’s valuable and going to help cuttings grow - however if it is drained of nutrients it’d be better for fresh. I’m kinda clueless on this one. Thanks for any tips!!

Is there a good brand of insecticide for houseplants that won’t harm a bunny rabbit (I have had my plants infected with long rollypollys that are white and fungus gnats)

Planta recommends using a tropical plant fertilizer on a lot of my plants, specifically, one that has less phosphorus than nitrogen or potassium. I had to do a lot of research and never found one with the recommended ratio. But this one comes close, and since I started using it last month, all the plants pictured here have grown at least one new leaf! My emerald gem, Emmy, has grown five, and my monstera has grown a huge, beautiful one, the first since I’ve brought him home. So happy with the results 😍🌿 I haven’t decided if I’m going to use this on all my plants. I assume they were all originally tropical plants before we started using them as indoor plants.

Does all neem oil smell like cat sh*t? Or do I need to return this?! 😂😅 This was the first time I’ve tried neem oil. I literally gagged and threw out the glove with spray on it because I didn’t even want to deal with it 🤢
