Is there a way to shut off the new Planta store yet? It kind of feels like a scam to pay such high prices for Planta premium and then have ads shoved down your throat. Thanks team!

Anyone have a solve for incredibly hydrophobic soil? I got a bag of tropical soil that is so hydrophobic and feels light as dust. Should I saturate it before mixing into my main substrate or keep it dry until I use it?

Made my first potting mix today!! - 4 dehydrated blocks coco coir - 8qt bag perlite - 4qt bag organic worm castings Now I wait for my husband to get home so I can get this out of the bath tub😀 I wanted to add some orchid bark to make it a bit chunkier, but they were out of stock

What does your cast of characters include? Here is my fertilizer matchup.

I’m new to hydroponic gardening. I have my indoor tent setup. I have two Toad LED lights. I have 4 five gallon VIVOSUN buckets with drip circulation ready to go and they have the small brown/redish pebbles for planting. Right now I have two sets of tomato plants in dirt pots that are about 3 inches tall, most of them anyway. When would they be ready for transplanting from the dirt to the hydroponic buckets? Any advice on how and when to do it? Is there a group or forum that I can join that gives advice on hydroponic growing?

Any suggestions for easy plant food? Since it’s winter, I’d love to give some extra nutrients without complicating my routine. Maybe a liquid food I can add to water when watering plants ✨

Can anyone suggest a humidifier that raises levels fast for large room and is top fill. Our Govee 6L won’t go above 35% no matter how long we run it

My current grow lights are pictured below: 1) Sansi grow bulb. I have the 36 watt in a pendant light. 2) Barrina strip lights for under shelves. The are my favorite strip lights because you can daisy chain them together in a few different ways. They plug into each other directly or they provide an extension cord that allows you to space them out. They also provide many sticky tape, zip ties and many other options to help you install them. 3) Sansi clip on lights. Can you share your favorite reasonably priced grow lights? I’m looking for something aesthetically pleasing. I have a corner of my living room I need to add more light to.

Is there a certain times where I should use solid fertilizer and liquid fertilizer? Or is it just preference?

Slowly accumulating plant supplies and would love to know where everyone gets their moss, clay balls, etc. I’m in northern Utah, so if you know of a great nursery or plant store feel free to throw it in the comments.

What grow light would you recommend for my majesty palm. It doesn’t get enough from the nw and ew window😢 It’s about 4+ feet tall and I’m looking for a bulb or a swag Thanks🌱

Ok real talk: why do the nursery pots never fit in the cache pots? I spend so much time searching for and measuring pots, trying to get them to fit each other. It took several rounds of pot shopping to find a cache pot for this plant. Is it just me who struggles with this?

If you’re looking for reasonable plant pots, World Market has tons of choices under $15. All pictured, with the exception of the pot with the face and the pot cover on my Monstera (Amazon) are from World Market.

Can I put brewed coffee residue in plants? Does it help in any way?

Hi everyone What sort of plant mix should I put in a restaurant with indoor and outdoor spaces ? Any recomendación on plants that are relatively hard to kill easy to maintain ? Tks

Hello! So I wanted to better look after my 3 plants, can anyone recommend fertilizer/plant food? Didn’t know there was such thing as stick fertilizer till this app. (I feel so bad for neglecting my plants, so they really need a pick-me-up). I am looking on amazon but honestly I don’t trust the recommendations there, I’d rather get advice from people who know best from on here. Thank you in advance!

I swear adding molasses to my watering schedule, gets my plants going! Tons of plants pushing out new leaves!!
