Hi! So, I live in New England. It is starting to get cold outside and I am looking for a good, small space heater with a timer. Amazon has some options but a lot of them say it can’t hold a steady temperature. I was wondering if everyone has any suggestions? I can’t move my plants too far away from the window due to lack of space. However, I don’t want them to get too chilly from the window either. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
GROW LIGHT HELP Hi everyone! I’m thinking to get a grow light for my plants, it’s a mix of chinese money plant, monstera, corn plant etc, standard domestic ones. They’re all in the living room, which is below the ground level and its window faces north, so not a lot of light, especially in the winter. There’s A LOT online, difficult the get my head around it. I’m based in the uk, and i’m looking for a light that casts good light on my corn plant, which is 1.90m, the mosntera, which is 1.70m and all the other little ones. Looking for something also that doesn’t look horrible. A lot of boxes to tick, i know, but if anyone’s got a good idea, please let me know :)

What kind of artificial light(s) help pothos, inch plant, and spider plant grow? I know natural sunlight is one of the best, but I don’t think near my windows are cutting it. Any tips?
Hello plant friends, I need to mist my plants, and I need recommendations for a brand for misters. So far I have broken these 3, and other 2. I try to mist my plants twice a day, and I add a few drops of either eucalyptus or mint oil (for mosquitoes). And they keep breaking, these aren’t even 3months old! Since I can’t place a humidifier, and the population of mosquitoes in my house do not allow for too many water plate, what recommendations do you have to boost the humidity for your plants? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Why buy expensive pots, find a local nursery and buy there used pots. I buy these 3 gallon ones for 50cent each and sometimes i can even trade some peppers for them
Does anyone know why the app increases the frequency of water so much in the summer time for indoor plants? My house is virtually the same temperature year-round and I'm constantly at risk of over-watering in the summertime or have to snooze multiple times each watering cycle. Is there a way to adjust the app without having to go fully manual on the care schedule?

Took tent down and moved pepper plants outside because bugs are on the decrease and the tent cost about 4 dollars a day to run.so i made a seedling rack
Just made myself a homemade leaf shine/ pest repellent. Unfortunately all I had was a dropper instead of a spray bottle ☹️. It’s got hydrogen peroxide, water, peppermint essential oils, a bit of fungus gnat killer, and, some soap.
Just got my hands on this beauty! Any tips?
Possibly ignorant question. I should just follow directions and leave it at that, but convenience sure is nice. Really hard water here, so I always add a conditioner to the water before watering my plants. Then of course my different fertilizers if it’s that time. I would LOVE to have some gallons premixed but the conditioner and fertilizer both say use directly after mixing. Is this really necessary? The conditioner and/or fertilizer is no good after 24 hours or whatever? Thanks 😣
My first grow lights! The telescoping poles don’t stand straight so I just put the halo lights on wire shelving to shine through. I think the poles would be fine if my plants were in large heavy pots. It’s a work in progress! There’s no electrical outlet on the wall! I have to cross the hallway or traverse 15 feet to get to the nearest one.

Anybody else struggle finding the right grow lights to try to not be obtrusive? Try to not look like grow lights? Not sure this is my greatest idea, but I’m going with it for now 😂
Am brainstorming on a plant related craft project and wanted to get some input from actual plant people. When you think about the small items you use for plant care (stuff like zip ties/velcro, tweezers, shears, plant tags, orchid clips, small stakes, mini scoop, etc.) --what do you use most?
