I saved up all chores for a Monday night plant party. A drill was involved. New coarse beach sand made it into the soil mix. Lots of anti bug and fungus sprays. So much for visual unity!

Does amazon have Grow lights that are worth money? Im looking into buying one from there (for now) till im able to Buy 2 Soltech Lights! Also i used to in Florida (born there) and now live upstate so Ive never had to use growing light… im new to them! So many options and prices any recommendations?

I made this DIY bird cage grow light for my office out of a lamp shade hoop (Amazon) chicken wire, pendant light cord and edge banding. Originally it was neutral colors, then I found these adorable bright green birds on Etsy and painted it white.

I had intended to talk about materials until seeing how many times I changed things around since June. The perfect, most aesthetically pleasing-to-me design just does not accommodate a herd of this size. After experimenting with tables and stands I already owned, I’m down to two full racks (the 14-inch deep IKEA Omar). I put some panel lights in there for no other reason than to change the stark, white hole (as in the opposite but the same effect of a black hole). The tall guys are actually responding to it. Do I have a confusing/conflicting sun source for these plants? Probably. Do I understand photosynthesis? Barely. Are all my plants under one roof and prepared for Winter. Yass.

I’ve gone back to using Arber products. They are organic and EPA approved. I was using them then listed to others and tried other brands. Nope… I’m back to this brand. I just wanted to brag on them… hope it’s ok!! 🦋🐞🪴🦎🏜️🌵
