Y’all. I think I’ve cracked it! Here’s my DIY grow light solution. Works great in my converted greenhouse, bathroom, because I need the reach and the flexibility. Total cost : $50 + Room Essentials 5-Head Floor Lamp: $25, Target + 5 Sansi 10W LED Grow Lights: $22, Amazon This particular lamp gives the option to turn on two, three, or all the lamp heads. Plus moveable lamp heads! The Sansi bulbs constantly run on flash sales, so they could be a little bit cheaper. Foot candles range from 1800 to 200, depending on distance. I’m so excited right now, I feel like I’m on the verge for finding a rhyme for the word orange. 🤪 Sharing in case this is helpful to any other plant parents!

    Omg I was literally just looking for that kind of lamp for diy lighting! 😂 I started out using the kind of affordable grow led lights that are all over Amazon, but they randomly die in less than a year and I’m so sick and tired of it. The vendors usually honor the warranty once, but if the replacement fails again before the first warranty has ended they’re just like “lol that stinks for you!” And it’s so stupid having to throw out a whole fixture. I keep saving them saying I’ll try to learn how to fix it, but I think I’m just wasting my own space. I definitely think long-lasting fixtures with replaceable lights is going to be the way to go!

    How has it held up since u put it up?

      It’s honestly been great. Haven’t had to replace any of the bulbs, highlight plants have been thriving, and I’ve been able to utilize the width of the light to cram even more plants in there. 🫠 I run it for about eight hours a day, the only thing I’ve noticed is that it does tend to get a little warm in that area, but we’re in the midst of summer in Arizona anyway.
