Possibly ignorant question. I should just follow directions and leave it at that, but convenience sure is nice. Really hard water here, so I always add a conditioner to the water before watering my plants. Then of course my different fertilizers if it’s that time. I would LOVE to have some gallons premixed but the conditioner and fertilizer both say use directly after mixing. Is this really necessary? The conditioner and/or fertilizer is no good after 24 hours or whatever? Thanks 😣
I had a supervisor who got a gallon of fertilized water each week from his wife. He brought it in on Monday and took it home empty for a refill typically on a Friday. He had a pothos suspended from the ceiling in the office with vines that covered the office like a canopy. The fertilizer was good the entire week. The bottle just grew algae inside. I’m not sure of the longevity of water conditioner. 🪴🍀

I premix my nutrients in 2 gallon batches at full strength. I dilute to 30-40ish percent in my watering bottles with tap water. That usually lasts a week or two. I just give the gallons a good shake before mixing. Been working fine for me
