Lighting question: This is my plant corner at work. I bought an LED floor lamp to put in the corner, but it broke during placement (it was, after all, $15). What do you recommend I use as an additional light source? The overhead lights are motion activated, so when no one is here, these three little lights are all my plants have. No windows. I’d also like to bring in more plants, once I can provide more light.
Mads, I am so intrigued with your plant collection - truly AMAZING 🤩 I agree with you about needing more light for your work plants - I’m new to grow lights, so I’m sure others will have more/better info for you, but I’ve heard Soltech is top of the line. Depending on how many plants you plan on having, little grow lights that clip onto the pot may be a good option for you. Another option could be a grow light bar that you could attach to the top of your cubicle to provide a larger light source to cover more plants - good luck !!

1 gillaSansi is also a really good brand. I get it right off Amazon. I’ve also recently got GooingTop (also amazon) and these lights are so freaking bright it’s insane. I can’t look directly at them and if I forget to turn them off, I feel like it’s mid-afternoon at 2am. I’ve had a lot of new growth with these. I specifically got them because they’re clip on whereas I’ve used Sansi bulbs in the past. I’ve not used a Sansi clip on yet but the bulb promotes amazing growth.
1 gillaI recommend getting something with a gooseneck so you’re able to adjust freely. It makes such a difference, especially for the lower plants.
