Some of my plants have grow lights on them cause I don't have the best window set up for them but when I try to add a grow light to my plant info it tells me I have to upgrade to the premium version. Why is that? I have plants that are doing great with the light but the app says they are placed to dark. For example the guy in this picture has new growth and seems to be really happy but I have a warning that it's placed to dark
I read a comment in another thread that said to trust yourself more than the app. The app can be wrong at times and you should have better judgement of the overall health of your plants. 🪴 If your plant is doing fine where it’s at then leave it be…I believe the app is set on like a default level of advice. For me I have plants that are not recommended in this app for my beginner level that are doing just fine in my care.

The grow light is a pay feature. So it can be a bit annoying. I have plants say too dark in a south window with direct light. So the apps not fool proof even with the ability to flip on growlight in the app.

I ended up caving and getting the premium for the scheduling features, but a good option is to create a new room and set it to the lighting you have set up. You can have a full sun section that are all under "bright light" settings without messing them up
