Hi y’all, it’s getting to be ‘grow light’ season & as a first year plant parent the research has been tedious lol. I have a 30” book shelf to move all the plant babies to.. I found 16” grow light strips, would 1 strip on each shelf be sufficient or should I put 2? I’m also looking for lights for the plants that don’t have a shelf above them like my money tree. *I also plan on putting a mirror the size of the shelves behind to help reflect some of the light* Any tips or advice appreciated.

    Wow! Sounds like your plants will have an awesome winter ahead of them lol. Hmmm I’d say with that length to go with two per shelf, just because if you put it in the middle the plants on each side might get stretched trying to reach towards center. If you more of want the plants to grow in their own space without moving around too much, two strips would be better. For grow lights for trees, I’ve seen some cool spotlight ones that you can mount on the wall above and point in the direction you’d like! 🪴💚
