Does anyone have suggestions on ways to raise the temperature in a greenhouse cabinet, or at least keep the temperature stable? Mine is next to a heater so that helps and doesn’t dip below 65°

    Have you sealed it all in or does it have lots of cracks?

      I did weather seal it and everything! It’s 65°-70°, which isn’t bad, I know it could be warmer though! I’ve read some people do heating mats to give it that extra temp boost, but I feel like that isn’t really necessary, idk maybe it is lmao

      Hmmmm yeah, usually with sealing it and then adding a grow light it keeps the temp up around the 80s. So strange how it hasn’t changed a bit past room temp lol. Yeah maybe for your situation you could add a heating mat, just careful if your shelves are glass though lol

      Omg yea, I got acrylic shelves immediately because the glass it comes with is paper thin! You would think since greenhouse cabinets are so popular, ikea would start selling different types of shelving The grow lights I have defiantly add some heat but I guess I’m gonna have to start looking into a mat of some sort 🥲

      That’s good! Right? It’s so dangerous on the edges, ugh you’d think so. They could totally make so many different models and sell them in different stores, lol should email the marketing team. Hmmmm yeah that’s all I can think to bump the temp up, do you have a humidifier in there too? Humidity raises temps too 😬

      My greenhouse was pretty low temp until I uncovered the larger tc acclimations, which boost the humidity.

    Use a seedling mat, either with or without a control. I plan to stick this one up the back wall, but it's just on the bottom right now, since this cabinet isn't fully set up.
