A note on grow lights. This and a huge number of plants spent July 2023 until now under supermarket fluorescent lights. It was an important lesson in to help my lighting paranoia. Did they thrive? I don’t see much growth on any of them, but some of the remaining blue columnar plants are still blue blue - a bit pale, but blue. I spent some time reading about the lights I have in my kitchen, and with that, the lights are now on a timer, as well 💡

    I’m always amazed that the plants in the store live on just fluorescent lights. I noticed how dark the indoor garden section of Lowes looked with the plants jammed together. The plants look good even in the dark corner and lower shelves.

      I asked the garden area clerk about it last year because I assumed there had to be another system. Nope
