This may be a DUMB question, but I recently received this peace lily in a self watering pot as a sympathy gift and I have NO IDEA how to access the reservoir in this self watering pot. It doesn’t have ANY instructions. I feel like I NEED to keep this plant in good health because of why it was given to me so I am in a panic to understand this pot it’s in. Anyone familiar with this style pot? Can anyone give me a how to on how to use it?
Is there a little slot in the bottom for you to pour water in?
0 likes I don’t see an opening. I checked the edges of the soil and I can’t find a tube or opening up top either?? It’s the most confusing thing.

I actually have one of these from a plant I got at Walmart just in a brick color! It has a little stand inside that the nursery pot is sitting on so you can pour water into the bottom which the roots will eventually reach if you choose to keep it in that pot. It’s not really “self watering” until the roots grow to reach the water I believe but it could also good alternative to a pebble tray for added humidity 🤷♀️
It should have a cotton wick to go through the drainage holes of the pot to reach into the reservoir, which makes it self watering
