Going to make this reply a post. Regarding Neem, the two differences, and what/how they work. Neem comes in two varieties. Azadirachtin (seed extract) and Clarified hydrophobic (alcohol "clarified" Azadirachtin). Clarified version, meaning it needs to come in contact with the insect (suffocating them) or infection to be effective. Also usually the better type for fungal infections, if youre goingto use neem. However I would recommend you use an actual anti-fungal product, as it doesn't treat many strains beyond rust. The regular extract you can spray on the plant and when the bugs ingested it, especially the larvae stage, it should poison them. Ideally a cold-pressed is best as high heat destroys the beneficial properties.

    I just see a lot of people using neem products and then wondering why it didn't work or their plant dies. It needs to be applied fairly regularly, and that heavy oil base can also suffocate your plant along with the bugs. I've personally stopped using it because of its impact on waterways and honey bee populations. But for those that can access few pesticides.

    Wow!! I didn’t know there was a difference between the two! Me and my sister just use water and some pollinator-friendly (that means bees) fertilizer that kills spider mites, thrips, mealy bugs, fungus gnats, and all those creepy crawlies.

      That's awesome! I especially use predatory bugs on my outside plants

      I use Physan-20 or good ol' peroxide dilution
