Hello, I have become a recent plant mama and I really dove in. I got a pomegranate tree, 2 banana trees, a pineapple plant, and lithops. I am really not doing great. I want to make sure I have the right equipment and would love some help. I currently have this light but I’m not very impressed, maybe just not using right? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Also any recommendations on fertilizer? Currently I have this.
What don't you like about it? I have this LBW lamp i like, and mostly Barrina, some Sansi
For fertilizer i use Fox Farm, or instant plant food, or superthrive. Banana need a fair amount of fertilizer, so you may want to research that. I fertilize mine every 2 weeks or so
0件のいいね I've seen a lot of these fertilizers on Amazon that are extremely low concentration. Like 3-2-2 or about that. I can't see what this one says. But just avoid any that are that low.
0件のいいねPomegranate is a Mediterranean fruit tree and banana and pineapple are tropical fruits. Fruits require much more energy than leafy plants. The plants you have love lots of sun, and are adapted to live with lots of sun. Growing them indoors will be difficult, and if they do survive, you probably won’t get much fruit. However, the lithops will love this setup. I would suggest getting more leafy/succulents for this indoor plant setup. If you want colorful/big plants, I can give recommendations :)
