are humidifiers a big helper for philodendrons and alocasias? and if so, should the humidifier be on 24/7? (for context i live in chicago)

    Higher and moderate humidity levels are beneficial to plants especially tropical plants. Plants like Cacti thrive in low humidity. The humidifier should be on long enough to achieve the humidity range needed for the types of plants you grow. You can buy a digital one starting about $6. More features such as Bluetooth/wifi can raise the price. Check the internet for the humidity ranges that are beneficial to the majority of plants you own. You may have to reposition plants closer or further from the unit. 🍀🪴
