I’m patting myself on the back a bit for this one. I’ve never had luck getting my plants to grow on a moss pole. The store bought ones are so tightly wound that none of my monstera or pathos plants would anchor in. Last night I ran across a burlap ribbon with my craft supplies and it gave me the idea to make my own. A couple pieces of trellis pole, some moss, thread and the ribbon and I have a custom made pole with holes large enough for easy anchoring and I have plenty of room at the bottom for a deep anchoring of the pole instead of the short post that comes with the store bought poles. It can be added to as the plant grows!
