New plant owner here, just added all my plants to Planta! Quick question, does anyone have good liquid fertilizer recommendations? I’ve never bought any and don’t know where to start. I have a few succulents, monstera, spider plant, and an orchid. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you 😊

Liquid Gold Leaf. More expensive but trust me. Most fertilisers damage soil microbiome and you have to use them on a different schedule for each type of plant. Over fertilising burns the roots. Also most fertilisers only focus on 3 to 5 minerals, maybe toss in some seaweed but that’s generally all. Liquid Gold Leaf contains all 70ish minerals, is simple to use, won’t damage the soil or the plant long term. It’s the only thing I buy these days and unless someone makes comparable alternative, I am mot budging.
Always check the N-P-K and match to what your specific plant needs as best you can. I’ve used Schultz for my Cacti and Succulents, and tend to add any fertilizer that has the right balance to the water for my Monsteras, Philos, and Epiprimnums and Pothos.
1 likeAlso, while added minerals is nice, the most important sources of nutrients is the N-P-K (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) in the right balance for the needs of the plant. Other minerals and nutrients are an added bonus!
