I got my first grow light today (after some helpful research on here) and I’m super excited to see the before/after! Does this placement seem okay to start with? The clip attachment is a little limiting as far as where I can put it! *the window is west facing so they get some sun*
You may have too much light. You may have to move the light away if the plants get paler. You can also use a light meter app or light meter to determine if the plants are getting the right amount of light. What I noticed is the plants looked overwatered. I can’t see all the plants clearly. I’m basing this on the pale color, yellowing and the large size pots. Most plants like to upgrade to a pot no more than 2 inches larger than the current pot. It’s hard for plants to use up all the water if the pots are too large. This leads to overwatering and root rot. Plus, slow drying soil is attractive to fungus gnats, mealybugs, and others. Consider reducing the pot sizes for the smaller plants except the ponytail plant. You may need the same for the dracaena.🍀🪴

We’re currently recovering from some overwatering spells which is actually what brought me to Planta 💚 My dracaena stumps me, but repotting is definitely in its future! Do I need to put more of the “stem” into the soil? Or just repot in a smaller pot like it is now? *closer picture added 🙂*
I only know how to kill a dracaena! I should not comment on planting depth. I can tell you the soil that is too low in a pot takes longer to dry out. Yours look very low.
