What are your choice of materials for moss poles, and how do you make them?

    I mean like what kind(s) of moss you use and whether you use metal or plastic, and how often you mist.

    I use sphagnum moss and metal wire, then I put the moss in the wire, with a plant stake in the middle for extra support, and wrap it up then zip tie it.

    I use sheet moss and coco coir, then I put it in a plastic tube that has holes in it. (Coco coir on the inside, and sheet moss on the out side of the plastic tube) and then I use string.

      Interesting! Do the plant roots always go through the sheet moss?

    I punch holes through the moss.

    I use dog hair and cat hair and I put it in a big turkey bone because they are hollow.
