    Mollys was the first chunky mix I ever got. Now I make my own with all the same things and save big time money because I have so many plants lol.

      Definitely a good idea if you have a lot of plants and the space to store everything. I only have 18. I just transfer them one by one as they need to be repotted because it is pricey. But boy do my plants live it. I love that it’s soulless too.

    I am using this mix as well but it’s new to me. I’m having a hard time figuring out when it’s time to rewater though. Any tips? Moisture meters don’t work. I try to go by weight and use my finger to test but I feel like I’m under-watering.

      You can use a chopstick or other wood stick. Stick it all the way to the bottom and look for the demarcation of water on the stick. Or if dirt sticks to it, you’ll know it’s still wet. I also use a moisture meter and my finger. I find that certain plants dry out before Planta reminds me so I keep an eye n those plants every week.

      I didn’t find the chopstick to work very well. Moisture meter definitely doesn’t work in this chunky mix.
