I am definitely an overwaterer so I am highly considering getting terracotta for some of my plants. I was going to pick some up at the dollar store but thought that maybe there is a difference in quality (like everything else). Is this the case? Should I pay a bit more for something better or is it all the same? All Terracotta pot tips are welcome as i have never used them, and also recommendations for where to get them as well! TYSM
If overwatering is an issue, you can also consider using leca instead of soil! Regarding terracotta pots, there really isn’t a difference, in my opinion. Most stores may be having sales on pots since winter is coming!

0 J'aimeI highly recommend terracotta and I haven’t noticed a big difference in quality. I love to check crafts stores since they usually have them pretty cheap and have great sales. Id also suggest a better draining soil mixture if you’re not already doing that!

i haven’t noticed a difference in quality, but you’d probably get a better bang for your buck if you go to a store like lowes for your terracotta! unless the dollar store is selling them in multi-packs, it will likely be less than the dollar store per pot (depending on the sizing of course). they’re just so cheap and they’ll always have the drainage plate for em too :)
