What is everyone’s thoughts on using zip ties to direct the growth of plants and trees (not too tight of course )

    (i am a newbie) but i found velcro reusable cable ties and i am loving them for my top heavy plants or if something is damaged! i was afraid traditional zip ties would maybe damage some of my sensitive plants :/

    I prefer velcro garden ties. You can cut to any length you want and the wrap it around the plant and pole/stake. Easy to remove and reposition. Soft on the plants. I haven’t tried zip ties, but my first moss pole came with metal pins to hold the plant it place. It caused some damage to my philodendron
