Regarding another post (by Anya, who I am mentally tagging), here are some materials. These boxes contain many bags of soil materials, pots, old lights, parts of IKEA furniture, and toy or glass bead that makes it into a pot, all the things I used to boost plants a couple inches closer to the sun. I also have a box of pots in my car 😭 This is the organization of a person who still might not know the ID of some of his plants but wakes up early to remove a top level of vermiculite to replace it with pumice - because he has been thinking about it all week. Fast and messy.

    *mentally tagging* ⚰️⚰️🤣🤣 I've been keeping a note on my phone of the first people I'm friend requesting when they get the app undated. I'm hoping they decide to go retro and have it look like MySpace. I'd totes put you in my top ten. 🤣🤣

      MySpace was the apex of social media, so you’re mention of it automatically gets you into my future and 2004-8 top 8. But yeah, this is another set of boxes in my mad science/art avalanche. The commonality among all of my projects is that I learn enough to get the rules, fall into a few rabbit holes after learning - and seeking out lol - caveats, and then I run off to make my own version. To add one more level of Sunday afternoon haze, I love mixing things up to prove there is a different way. That’s why I’m suddenly packing a crate with 7 different soil materials. Haha.

      You gotta give the plant what it wants. I love making my own mixes. Usually cheaper too!

      Yup. Or you read about radical ways, plant, and two weeks later think “yeah, it needs more dirt.”
