Does anyone have any good resources for using grow lights? I bought some and read that the plants have to be a certain distance away from it to grow properly.

LinnéaI place mine above the plants, somewhere around where around 4-8 inch / 10-20cm away from them and keep the light on for 12-16h depending on the plant’s needs.

Do you have high light plants under the grow lights? I have a lot of part sun plants so I’m wondering if I put them further away if that mimics “bright indirect light”.

nanobright indirect only refers to the actual sun. all plants should be placed the same distance from the light as it does not give off the heat and can’t burn the leaves(as long as leaves are not touching the light). moving a plant further away from a grow light will only make it grow worse and leggy, wanting to be closer to the light. a grow light is the brightest light you can get for any plant without burning them

Fern <3It is better to place them above because it will promote vertical growth, so they will get tall.

ChrisIf you get some from Amazon, you can actually do a command strip/adhesive setup on, at least, every other shelf starting from the bottom. Then you can place them under each shelf, right above the plants who need it most or get the least amount of light from the window. Try getting ones that have a timer and you’ll be golden.
