Hello, I recently put all of my plant supplies into glass containers and really love the look of it. Does anyone know if this can actually harm any of the supplies though? They do get quite moist in some of the containers, like the coco coir and soil. As aesthetically pleasing as it is, I don't want to go ruining my supplies 😅 thank you in advance!

I can't think of any it would be harmful for, except slow release, and that's only if it was moist, which it shouldn't be. Worst youd get some mold on soil or coir, you could treat with peroxide. Or lay it out to completely dry before putting it in

2개 좋아요 It's a very aesthetically pleasing set up! Although I recently saw a girl who just put soil in a plastic drawer system so she could just open the drawer and shovel the soil in, nice and quick
2개 좋아요 I saw that on IG, but the bins were ridiculously expensive on Amazon fir the larger size, like $50 each.!! I may have to try the homegoods to see of they're more reasonable. Or maybe temu 😆 nothing like just getting it direct

If they start to hold moisture, I’d just leave the lids off for a bit to help dry them out. Your inorganic stuff should be fine, but the biological stuff like soil, moss, etc., could possibly develop molds if they stay wet in a jar.
