SunnyMy ceiling fan runs 24/7 to help reduce the humidity. I’m in a high humidity zone. Use a hygrometer to measure the humidity levels. Run the fan more if the humidity is high. Run it less often if the humidity is low. Check online for the humidity levels needed for your plants. 🪴🍀

HayleyI use the ceiling fan 24/7 because my house would be humid as heck without it (lots of plants, 55 gallon fish tank, and 3 gallon moss ball jar). House normally sits around 43-56% humidity depending on time of year. For my humidity loving plants, I have a cabinet. Plants that prefer humid but don't need it are up top; just being in the cabinet together keeps their humidity around 55-60%. Plants that really do better with higher humidity (marantas and my alocasia) go on the bottom with a cool mist humidifier set to 70%. I believe the brand is Breezome. I also have an alarm on the bottom cabinet shelf and under the cabinet that will alert me if anything starts leaking (paranoia from being a fish keeper who's had a 29 gallon tank slow leak into her third floor apartment lol)

This is super helpful to know! Thanks for sharing this with me. I have a maranta but it’s a cutting. Does this need higher humidity still?

🌺 Thai Jade 🌺I cannot speak to the usefulness of a ceiling fan, but if you decide to go the grow fan and humidifier direction, these are the ones I purchased. I am very happy with how they are working.
