My dad just gifted me this beautiful bird of paradise! I believe it’s the white variety (correct me if I’m wrong) any tips on keeping it happy and healthy are appreciated. I have it in a south facing window not sure if that’s a good space, I can move it further away but like it here aesthetically. Thank you in advance!
It’s soooo beautiful!! 👏🏼 You’re correct- it’s a white BOP. Mine loves bright sun (your placement is great), plant food, and does not want to fully dry out between waterings. I sprinkle cinnamon on top of the soil after I water to keep the pests away. 🌿🤩

Just appreciate it before the leaves tear! I don’t know how to stop it but I think they just get so big they tear under their own weight :/ But it’s so beautiful! Good luck! (And your aloe looks smashing as well!)

It’s looking beautiful 👏👏😁 Make sure you’re keeping it at a higher humidity, you’re fertilizing it every 2-4 weeks in growing season, and you do research to make sure you’re doing everything you can to let it thrive :D
