Hello all Today I noticed these “bites” on the leaves of this corn plant. I inspected for insects but didn’t find anything. Any idea of what’s causing this? The top leaves are fine. Thanks

    The shape almost looks like small human child. It could be any pet. If you don't have pets or children, start looking for mice

    If you can’t find it during the day, it’s a slug. Leave a shallow tray of beer at the base of the soil. It’ll attract the slug into the tray and they’ll drink it and you can remove in the morning.

      Unfortunately neem doesn’t touch slugs. :x you need bacillus thuringiensis for wormy guys. Or some diatomaceous earth around the base.

    Could be grasshopper!!!! I started having issues that looked similar last year and they can do a lot of damage. Neem oil helped but I eventually had to start catching them.
