Hello! I just bought this birds nest snake plant and I was a bit confused when it has a large amount of water in the base and the soil was soaking wet. I always thought snake plants likes to be kept pretty dry. This ones roots are coming out the bottom and it looks like there’s a baby growing in there too. Honestly it doesn’t look bad to me sl I wanted to make sure. Anyways, it didn’t even come with a real price tag, let alone care instructions. How moist should I keep this soil?

    They may have just watered it before you bought it! But you can always pull it out of the pot to check its roots to make sure they aren’t rotted. But they do like be all the way dry before watering again! I think planta says that’ll usually take around 13 ish days, but always check the soil before actually watering!
