Rubber plant hates being repotted! I have had a rubber plant - more a bush - for the past five years. It came to me in a glazed pot with no drainage. At the time, I wasn’t particularly into plants so I left it there for literally four and a half years! It grew a lot so a few months ago, I repotted it. It freaked out, lost half its leaves and I was so scared that it was going to die that I propagated three stems (so I now have three small rubber plants that won’t stop growing but that’s another story). I put it back into the original pot and after a few weeks, it rallied and recovered. I’m wondering if anyone knows what the issue might be? I’ve literally never had any other plant go into transplant shock and I have no idea why it did this. I watered it yesterday and am so used to plants with drainage that I went harder than I should have and I’m now worried it’s sitting in water. Considering trying to repot again but just a lift and shift, so it doesn’t notice…?
