Why am I being asked to water my outdoor plants when it’s below 20 degrees outside?

    The schedule of watering just happened to fall on today probably, I don’t think they consider temperature in it.

    The app can be helpful and.. sometimes not so much, good rule of thumb is to check how heavy it feels (only really works if it’s in a plastic pot) and stick ur finger in to see if any wet soil sticks to it. 💚

      But would you EVER water in the winter in the Midwest? And it tells me the temperature outside…makes no sense and I would hate to mark it as watered when it’s not..

    The app will tell you if it rained or frost warning. But as far as I understand the tasks and the weather aren't linked.

      That's what I do. It rains a lot here, so usually I just mark it or skip it.
