I got my new money tree sent today due to the last one having rotten root. (It’s shown here from what I could salvage, is it ok to keep it close to the new one?). With the new one, This time the soil is dry on the top. When I touched its dry on top of the soil and about an inch deep it’s very lightly damp. When would you recommend me watering it for the first time? Also is this a good place to keep it near the window with the shades closed so it can get indirect light or is it too close? (it’s about 1 ft away from the window)
