My variegated jade has most leaves with red tips/edges. I would rather have it just white and green because I think it looks better that way. I have read online it can be due to sun stress. So by giving a bit less light will the red fade overtime or is it permanent?
I believe the sunstress will go away overtime in lower light. I would just caution to transition it to lower light slowly over time. My jade always gets shocked and drops a lot of leaves if I move it to a different room
3 J'aimeMy mom got me my (reg) jade plant and I have the strongest of adhd, forgot about it and left on my porch for over a month in the middle of summer. It got way sunburnt and it’s been inside in low light for a couple months it randomly started blooming this week. My point is that plant is tough it’ll be okay. Good luck!
You probably have the Crassula ovata variegata jade which has red in it. I have the Crassula obliqua variegata which has no red.
Although I’m a newb so not entirely sure I’m right haha
