Hi everyone!! I have a few plant geeky facts for you all today! The first one is plants can see, they use their leaves to see movement and even more than humans! And last one is plants can feel feelings! Not like humans but they can lol!! Here is a book where it talks about this and more, that I think all of you should read! It’s rly good:
I am not sure where I fall regarding how plants perceive their surroundings. But it is clear they respond dynamically to environment - from all of my plants leaning toward the window to plant music (it’s a wacky thing) to the Boquila trifoliolata mimicking it’s neighbors leaf shape, size and color. It really changed my perception that plants just sit there.
