I have a pothos up on a high shelf in my kitchen. Last year, she was easy to handle and I moved her to better light for the winter. This year, she’s a big ‘ol girl who doubled in size over the last 6 months. Now that the light is changing, I don't want to move her. Unfortunately, the shelf is in the desert of Tatooine as far as electrical outlets go. I'm wondering if anyone has used a battery-powered or rechargeable grow light? Did it work well? I don't even know if they’re out there. I haven't found any online, but I'm going to check with my local nursery too. I guess I could use a rechargeable light and change the bulb? Any suggestions? 🙏

    Never tried one personally, but there are definitely rechargeable grow lights out there. I purchased a grow light recently and they sold some that were chargeable through USB. I’d have a look at Amazon or eBay or similar.

    What about solar power banks to connect the grow lights to? I bought my husband one for Xmas one year and he’s kept one in his car and office ever since. Not 100% sure about how long it will keep grow lights running- but they can connect to charge as well as using solar power to do so. Maybe a couple on hand to swap out? Or perhaps one would last all day and could recharge at night?

      Great idea! I have other solar lights for some greenhouse plants, I didn't even think about putting one in the kitchen. 👌
