Did a deep dive into learning more about different N P K nutrients in fertilizers and which plants benefit from more or less of those. This article was super informative and might help others understand more about fertilization and what plants need! Led me down a rabbit hole to learning about Silica for plants! Going to try out this silicone product and see what happens! I’ll let you know if wonders ignite! 🌿🤓
I have been using the Dyna Gro - Foliage Pro fertilizer but wanted to know what the difference was with the Dyna Gro - Grow fertilizer. That first link explains! (Hate that it won’t let you post links but i do get why). Second link is all about Silica in hydroponics (if any of you are doing Pon or Leca)!

This is super interesting. My experience with silica is using it as a desiccant. It seems backward to put it into water. But the theory checks out when you think of it on the cellular level. Very cool. I'm going to try it!

Thanks for the info! I’ve always added a touch of sand to most of my soil, but never knew that plants could take in soluable forms of silica to resist disease.
