Hello everyone, I’m sure all of you are familiar with the little white spots in Jade from calcium in the water. For the past three or four months I have been watering my Jade with distilled water, and most of the time with 1/2 strength foliage pro (super thrive) added. I’m starting to get concerned with nutrient lockout by watering with distilled consistently. Would you suggest switching to spring water to avoid this?
As long as you’re fertilizing for nutrients, distilled water should be fine for your plant.

nothing wrong with the white spots, it means the plant’s system is working as intended. this sounds like unnecessary effort and expense to me. i’ve never had any jade plants have health issues watering with plain tap water even living in places with terribly corroded pipes.
0개 좋아요Instead of distilled water why not treat your water with de calcifier? You can buy from fish (aquarium) shops
