Hi! I’ve had a recent thought but can’t decide on the logical outcome- I wonder if mixing in cedar chips with mixtures would help prevent pests. One side of my brain thinks it would. The other side thinks it might catalyze decomp and mold/fungus. But I have orchid bark in a lot of my mixtures which is also technically wood-like, and that’s recommended as an additive. Thoughts?
I would look into how it might affect the pH of the soil.

Please look up beneficial nematodes for pest control—a lifechanger for me! You can apply it to all your pots and it is not harmful to plants, animals, or humans. Completely natural pest control!

Does this work for mealybugs too? I’ve about had it with spider mites but at least they can be somewhat managed. Some mealies have taken over a Hoya and now they spread to anything nearby—- not even plants, they’ll crawl across wood, twine and linen to get to my other hanging plants. It’s impressive albeit gross as hell.
좋아요 1개 The company I bought nematodes from, Nature's Good Guys, has a selection of different nematodes for different pests, so I'd take a look at their list.
