Hi everyone! So I am not by any means a plant person. I am absolutely clueless, but a few months ago I found where someone in my apartment building had trimmed their plant (which I’m pretty sure is a monstera? That’s what the plant ID said at least) and tossed the trimmings by the dumpster, so now I have kids! I made the cuttings smaller and then placed them in water to propagate them, and I think it’s now time to repot them but I’m so scared they’re gonna die lol any recommendations on how to start the process? Also please don’t come for me for the state of the little jars 😭 I’m trying my best but like I said I’m not good with plants which is why I’m here. I also rescued a fiddle leaf from the same dumpster and somehow kept it alive so I figured I’m starting my plant parent era.

My monstera has been thriving so I though I would splurge and get a baby MTC. Can I see pics of yours and maybe get some tips on how to keep her thriving? They will waive under my black magic grow light, near my humidifier. These are just 2 of my MANY plants 😁

hey guys!! i'm thinking about potting these three vases (5 cuttings total) into one pot with a moss pole (gonna take my pothos' 18" pole or just buya new one, not sure yet) can anybody recommend what size pot i should buy so they all fit? I know I'll need to go buy some tropical soil and mix it with my perlite, but want to do everything right so it grows big and healthy. any advice for moving them from water would be greatly appreciated :)) (i included some notes about measurements in inches)

Hi!! My monstera has been having lots of water on the ends of her leaves. I know they like a little higher humidity but the ends of the leaves where the water has been gathering are turning lighter and curling down a little.. I’ve only misted her once and wiped down her leaves with a wet paper towel - it was not enough water to be dripping for days though. Should I be worried? Or is this normal?

Would you chop off the smaller bottom leaves? The new leaf it’s pushing out seems pretty small. I just repotted recently, so I’m wondering if I should chop the lower non-fenestrated leaves to help with new growth. Tia!

help! this is my first monstera, i have two. this one when bought had brown spots on the leaves and recently i left it outside too long and it got sunburned. i dont know what to do. my monstera looks so sad and crazy. it hasn’t produced any new leaves in about two weeks (or less) i don’t know how i need to care for it to get it looking healthy again. any tips would help and be so appreciated. i have always wanted a monstera and i feel like such a bad plant mom (ignore the laundry i have to fold and put away.)

I got this monstera a few weeks ago. One of the leaves was a little broken, I cut the broken part of, now the leaf is turning yellowish.. should I leave it or what is wrong?

Trimmed a Monstera a few weeks ago of some of the smaller leaves at the bottom. Haven’t seen new leaf growth in a few weeks. Any one have any suggestions? Other details: trimmed only small leaves at the bottom Repotted also to ensure roots were good Regularly fertilising and watering as per the app recommendations

Half an inch my plant is growing toward the ground. I need some tips on how I can fix her!? I staked her up after doing some good research, and she really did not like that! I gave her a couple weeks to adapt, and still no improvement… So I took the stakes out and let her back down. She almost instantly perked back up! But I really don’t like the way she’s growing. Does anyone have any tips??
