Any tips for this lovely mini monstera! Single vine⊠over 6ft tall?
What is the best way to fertilize cuttings? Like how much fertilizer should I use? Last time even after diluting the water i burned the rootsđ„Č
new leaf unfurled! đ
My monsterra is growing out of the pot mostly in one direction. Heâs very unruly! Any tips on repotting to get him recentered? Heâs also got a long spare root.
I got this plant from my mother in law. I repotted it yesterday and put it in my well lit living room. Iâve never had a monstera â is this pot an ok size? Do I need to put any stakes in the soil for it to climb and have a good growth? It looks a little sad but I did repot it so Iâm hoping it perks up!
Hi! Anyone know why some leaves are âwrinklierâ like this?? Is this normal or not? Thank you :)
Do anyone know what this is on the underside stem of my monstera? And is it normal/okay for it to be there?
Can this be saved? Iâve had it sitting in water in a jar for a couple weeks after root rot set in, and it keeps going downhill. Wondering if I should take a clipping (and if so, how?), or just let it die? Any feedback appreciated!
So the more I learn about monsteras the more I think this plant might be one⊠What do yâall think? The tag said white wizard philodendron but is that definitely not it. The plant identifying ai on here isnât getting it right either.
Hello! Iâm advanced with succulents, but new to other plants. Iâm loving it! So Iâve been collecting and I got this baby at Target and it says itâs a monstera but the app keeps identifying it as other things (pothos, philodendron) I know monsteras can start out with whole leaves and split later. Wondering if thatâs the case here, or this isnât a monstera at all. TIA
This Monstera Peru is beautiful.
Hello friends! So Iâm still fairly new to plants, I got my first ones on Motherâs Day. Then I somehow ended up with a LOT of plants. It happened so fast đ But anywayyyy, this monsters is one that I was gifted on Motherâs Day. The first pic Iâd from shortly after I got it, and the other 3 are from tonight. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers for me. Iâve recently been struggling with its new leaves not opening. They start, and then just turn brown and die before they even unfurl. Iâve been trying to most more since I noticed the issue and I think it has helped. But should I be doing anything else? And does it look like Iâm caring for it correctly as far as the pot itâs in and the way I have the stick in there for supper? I was advised last month that this is a viney monstera, should I have it in a hanging planter rather than using the stick for support so the plant and be hanging and let the vines just hang down? I apologize for how long this is. If youâve made it this far, thank you! Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! đȘŽ
Mini monstera, why is it dropping leaves? It was doubled in height, but the light in the corner wasnât enough for good leaves. The breaks between leaves were too large. So I cut it back, added a moisture meter(which is reading fine) and added lights. Pls help, (the yellow leaves shown do not account for the 10+ in the last week
TLDR: I have been keeping these massive monstera cuttings in water buckets, how do I know when to plant them in soil? Hi! First time posting here, Iâm quite new to plants but I am super obsessed so far, about a couple months ago I found out I had a giant 6ft-8ft monstera growing on my tree on my front yard (I knew it was there before but had no idea what it was until I got into plants) probably growing for a few years, (I actually found out it came from my neighbors yard but once it hit my tree it just grew like crazy) anyways like a month after noticing and started to take more care of it my landlord comes in and cuts it off lol, i tipped the guy cutting it and he gave me the removed plant in several huge pieces. I have trimmed and placed the pieces (each is probably half a foot tall and a foot wide on the leave ends) in individual buckets with water to try and propagate, however my question is when do I change them to soil? All the fragments have roots that were attached to the tree and aerial roots intact and some have started sprouting new roots as well in water. Should I continue leaving in water and changing water for a couple of months or can I go ahead and plant in soil?
New beauty from my handsome man! So excited to see her once sheâs relaxed.
Does anyone know what these shoots are coming out of my Monstera? And what am I supposed to do with them! Thank you đ«¶đ«¶đ«¶
Looking for advice on these two Monstera, not sure if I need to relocate or what Iâm doing wrong. The smaller one used to be bigger but this is what we saved a bit seems to be holding its own, but Iâm wondering if it needs a new home. The larger ones leaves are turning brown once again not sure if Iâm over or underwater, or if it needs to be relocated. Almost forgot about this one that the edges of believes of browning it has been in the spot for quite some time but still seems to be a bit temperamental with the browning of the edges of the leaves
Hi, I need a bit of help with my plant. Iâm seeing more brown spots pop up and Iâm not sure why. Itâs in a south facing window and gets watered regularly. I use a moisture meter to check when it might need watering. Since its winter, its been less frequent but all my other plants are the same so I havenât been alarmed by that. It definitely needs repotting but I thought it would be best to wait until the spring. I bought it a few months back and it needed repotting then but Iâm still very much a beginner so I didnât know at the time. Since I bought it 4 new leaves have grown but since October, thereâs been no new growth. Is this normal considering its condition? It is growing in height though. Iâve attached a few pictures of the brown spots. If anyone knows what might be causing it and how to remedy it Iâd be very grateful! Iâve also added a picture of a leaf that Iâve just removed from the plant.
Whoever priced this one messed up $17.99 đ
