UPDATE FROM MY LAST POST: I got them!!!!🥰🥰🥰 I haven’t gotten to check the roots yet but they look SO BEAUTIFUL and VERY healthy so far!! The Aureas and Albos were supposed to be single leaf cuttings but I was blessed with cuttings that also have new leaves ready to unfurl on them and some with even two leaves! I’ll update again once I get them into their acclimation set up :-) (the amount of pictures and videos i’ve seen of these variations online makes me feel like im in a fever dream having these sit in front of me now😂😂)

I am so gutted! I was checking on my plants this morning and realized my monstera had moved and this leaf was right against the grow light. Poor baby. 🥺 This was one of my first leaves to have fenestrations and probably one of her biggest leaves. Lesson learned I guess, with a cost. 😕

I’m so darn excited (a little bit nervous too) so i couldn’t help but share that MY IMPORTED MONSTERAS ARE ARRIVING SOONER THAN EXPECTED TODAY!!! (they were expected to arrive the 19th) I imported rare variegated monsteras from Thailand and I’m soooo excited but nervous at the same time 😆 It’s the feeling of going into to take a test that you’ve spent much much time preparing for (having the feeling you will crush but not entirely sure) 😅😂 I will UPDATE with pics of them ASAP!!

I need help with my new monstera! A neighbor gifted it to me - I’ve been wanting one forever and I’m terrified of killing it!
I don’t have a proper planter for it (I don’t think), so I put it in a cookie jar for now (lol). There is no drainage, but I think that’s okay as long as I don’t overwater?
Any help and advice is appreciated!

okay guys. i’m going to be honest. i’m not 100% sure how to take care of a monstera to the best of my abilities. i’d really like some tips and pointers.
i also wanted to know what exactly i should get to tie/help hold my monstera up. as you can see she’s very droopy. i know moss poles but have heard mixed reviews about them.
i really want to get her looking the best she can because i love monsteras a ton but i feel like im not doing a great job caring for her.
any tips or pointers help! she does have three new babies on her!

The newest leaf on one of my Monsteras just unfurled and it is SO TINY!! and Even though it’s so tiny it has fenestrations?!?! Never seen this before 😂 Second pic is to show the comparison of the new leaf vs her adult leaves. Also does anyone know if the leaves grow in size even after they’ve unfurled??? From what I’ve experienced so far they don’t seem to :( but i’m hoping this one will lol

Hi. I had a disaster and had to chop up my mini monstera and reroot. Are these roots adequate to plant back in soil or should I wait? Thanks!

Need advice on what to do with a Monstera adansonii that is not doing well after being planted in LECA.
Received rooted cuttings (in soil) from grower last Tuesday. Planted in LECA last Thursday. On Friday, they looked like the plant you see in the happy plant photo below.
Then I had to go out of town for two nights on Sunday. When I got back earlier today they looked like the sad and thirsty plants you see in the other picture. I immediately noticed they were out of water and gave them more, but it’s been a few hours now and there are no signs of the two wilty plants reviving.
Any advice or suggestions on what else I can do? I’ve taken one of the wilty ones out of LECA so you can see roots, if that is helpful.

My monstera has been growing beautifully all summer and into the fall. My issue is that it’s a little top heavy now! It keeps falling on its face. It’s not really in my budget to get better supports at the moment, so I’m working with what I have. I have a bigger pot, should I repot it even tho it otherwise doesn’t seem like it needs to be repotted?

New monstera adansonii!!
First monstera of my plant collection. Should I leave it hanging or get a moss pole so the leaves can grow up it rather than down? My apartment doesn’t get too much sunlight. North facing and I have it a few feet back from the window at the moment. I don’t really have too much space to move it closer to the window. Should I set up a grow light or have some of you had luck with adansonii in lower light?

I’ve become that person. I rescued this monstera from Fred meyers today because he was SAD and I wasn’t going to let him live his life that way!!!! Bone dry dirt discarded for water and his roots are lovely. Hydrogen peroxide wash on roots and leaves and into the fertilized water. 😻😻

Think its time for a repot😅

I leave in a week, for a week, and look what has happened. 😻 two new leaves and a leaf that has unfurled. So happy.

I desperately need help guys! I bought two Aurea clippings from a reputable seller in Thailand. Upon receiving them I noticed one had some rust spots. I started treating it with copper fungicide 2 weeks ago. It hasn’t done anything. It’s getting worse under the leaf. I’m aware with copper fungus you are to remove any infected leaves or stems but my question is how do I do so when it’s a single clipping ? I have both clippings quarantine! I’d appreciate any feedback at all. Thank you!
