Hii! Just got this monstera yesterday and am loving it, I’m a bit of a new plant mum any tips? Anything is helpful, even just basic care šŸ˜… amount of water, how much sun should it be getting etc. It seems to be leaning a little bit (I’ve seen people use climbing poles - should I do that? If so how?) thanks a lot!

Hey yall! I have my Swiss cheese monstera she’s not doing good. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. When I first got her she was super crispy and damaged from the sun. I have watered her and keep her close to the sun. What do you guys think?

Please help! I need advice, I had visitors and they were staying in the room my monstera was in so I moved her outside. She got droopy and her newest leaf grew out tiny with no fenestraitions and the one side was all brown. She used to be so happy! I’m pretty sure I have her in the right light conditions and she’s getting enough water.

Anyone know why my medium is doing this? I water about every week and half to 2 weeks. Fertilizer once a month. I haven’t gotten any new leaves in about 2 months. Just the stems getting longer. Can I cut them?

Hey everyone! I’m really excited about my Thai constellation. I just wanna make sure I’m doing everything right. She has a new leaf with variegation! Should I be watering the moss poll? I watered her with fertilizer today. I also use a humidifier and she gets a mix of bright light and a grow light as well.

A couple Monsteras I saw at a botanic garden today! I know the whole ā€œlarge formā€/ā€œsmall formā€ is not botanically recognized, but I feel like there was such a difference between these two plants

Okay so I just posted last night regarding my Monstera, Michael. However, last night I was poking around in his soil looking for any aerial roots and discovered an entire plant of Monstera just- In the pot separate from the main Monstera LMAO It had two big Aerial roots and some established roots already. Should I leave this Monstera in the water or should I put it back into a pot of soil on its own? Any suggestions appreciated! (I just moved it to the water for the time being)

I’m moving in a few weeks. Opinions. Tips & tricks welcome. Overall it’s a short trip (170miles) but y’all know how some of these can be. Any suggestions on preparing them, moving them , &/or helping them settle??

New growth on my Monstera! She stagnated for ages after growing two new leaves in quick succession so needless to say I’m pretty happy😁

Hello all! Writing to ask a health question on my Monstera. I just got Michael two ish weeks ago, and he’s definitely perked up since I’ve gotten him. He use to have no splitting leaves, very droopy, etc. In that, he had some spots and leaves that were of concern that I had hoped (foolishly) would heal themselves but haven’t. There was a piece of leaf I had to trim off because it was just not healthy. I’m wondering if this is the same situation, where the leaf is just bound to not do well in the future and if I should go ahead and prune the leaf off? This is the only leaf that still has any spots or discoloration. Any advice appreciated! Also to add, I have looked through the plant, there are no mites, flys, etc etc etc. I made sure of it when I repotted him from the nursery pot he came in to the one he’s in now.

I’m just so happy with Annabelle’s progress. She’s my first monstera Swiss cheese. I think I’m ready for a cousin. Maybe I can find an albo that I won’t have to take a loan out to get. She had a bath and some vitamins today. (It’s very dusty here so I do mist regularly)

I’m a plant newbie so this is a dumb question and further more embarrassing because I have a few Monstera. However, I can’t remember how the leaves came out when they unfurled. Anyway, if the leaf unfurls with no fenestrations, is that how it will remain? Or do the fenestrations break out later? Or rather, does the leaf have to unfurl with fenestrations? I really DO pay some attention to my plants, but I have three medium Monsteras that i believe unfurl with fenestrated leaves, and I have one baby Monstera that only puts forth small, completely solid leaves that have not later fenestrated. That being said, one of the medium Monsteras did just grow a small stem and leaf that is smallish and un-fenestrated, so, I can keep a close eye on that one to find out this answer. But I’m itching to know now if someone can explains. šŸ™šŸ»šŸŖ“šŸ‘½

Hello everyone, I need some help. So I got a huge gorgeous cutting of a Thai constellation monstera a few weeks back and I planted it in soil. I never poked holes into the base of the pot and unfortunately, he’s now suffering from root rot. Is this salvageable? I dunked him in 1 part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water and now I’m leaving him to callous over. I cut of much of the rot as I could.

HELP! My favorite plant Ruth is not doing well. Some of her large leaves are yellowing and going to die off. I repotted her in the spring. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong! But new sprouts are still coming. I don’t know what to do. I’ll be so sad if I lose her. 😢
